Beyond TalentEdge is hiring a Machine Operator/Slicer for a global manufacturing company that serves customers in the aerospace, oil and gas, automotive, medical, consumer, and industrial markets.
Job Types: Full-time, Temp-to-hire
Pay: $17.95 - $20.34 per hour
Schedule:
A Shift
Monday – Thursday – 5:30am – 3:00pm
Friday - 5:30am - 9:30am (hours are adjustable)
B Shift
Monday – Thursday: 2:45pm – 12:15am
Friday - 2:45pm - 6:45pm (hours are adjustable)
Ability to Relocate:
Key Responsibilities:

Able to installs proper oils and coolants
-
Adjusting machines appropriately for quality and quantity
-
Removes swarfs and old coolants from machine and properly disposes of them

Changes machine oils, coolant and filters
-
Ability to operate multiple slicing machines at a time

Preserves tooling to perform at maximum efficiency

Maintains proper quality and quantities of manufactured materials

Going over Operation Sheet to verify all prior operations have been completed
Minimum Qualifications
Desired Attributes:

Being able to sit, stand or walk for long periods
-
Able to lift 50 pounds
-
Knowledge of reading Blueprints
-
GD&T Training
-
Able to use and understand standard and metric measuring systems.

Knowledge of measuring tools.

Statistical Process Control (SPC) Experience beneficial
