Position Summary:

The RETAIN intern will aid the Talent Strategy Program Manager for CampusROC in the advertising and management of the RETAIN cohort program. RETAIN is an excellent program that is geared towards providing early career professionals with an opportunity to work as a cohort in receiving networking, professional development, community engagement and involvement all aimed at helping them grow their roots to stay in Rochester long-term. As the RETAIN intern, you will be helping to organize all aspects of this grant program. This could look like anything from attending meetings with potential community partners, to organizing volunteer opportunities for participants, to helping plan (and attend!) exciting events throughout Rochester. This intern will also be crucial in the management of the RETAIN budget and data tracking process as we maintain the grant.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about Rochester and has a go-get it attitude.

 

Note: This role is part time and 15-20 hours a week and will run Late May/Early June 2025- Ideally August 2026 (May 2026 can also be discussed).

Help maintain and analyze the data gathered from the retain program, tracking expenses, interaction points, and participants.

Researching and communicating with volunteer opportunities and community engagement opportunities as well as merchandising contacts.

Help communicate with RETAIN participants to keep them in the know for events and help maintain their virtual community.

Help creatively generate ideas to grow the RETAIN program both in size and in success. Help in completing tasks and other duties as assigned

Qualifications: describe the qualifications in terms of skills, knowledge and training required for competent performance of this job: Strong communication skills, organizational skills, motivated, comfortable with public speaking where needed, ability to work remote and in the office in a hybrid format and to attend RETAIN offsite events, MS Office.

 

 

Education: These qualifications are most typically, but not exclusively, associated with a minimum education of:

 

 Currently pursuing an Associates, Bachelors or Masters degree
