About the role

Job Summary:

The Manufacturing Engineering Supervisor leads a group of manufacturing engineers and/or team leads, overseeing their daily activities and project assignments. This role involves setting performance goals, conducting performance reviews, and providing guidance to ensure the successful execution of manufacturing projects. The Supervisor collaborates with other departments to optimize processes, address production challenges, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. They play a key role in resource allocation, project planning, and ensuring quality standards are met.

What you will be doing

Job Accountabilities:

  • Lead and manage a team of manufacturing engineers and technicians.
  • Set team performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide feedback.
  • Collaborate with other departments and cross functional teams to resolve customer issues and optimize operational performance.
  • Plan and execute projects to deliver products to customers with optimal safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance. Support the development of financial justifications for proposed projects.
  • Apply technical expertise to drive the development of new manufacturing methods and best practices.

Compensation: $115,000-$125,000

About you

Minimum Requirements:

  • BS Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in engineering and leading a team of engineers and technicians
  • Strong leadership & communication skills
  • Working knowledge of key engineering tools and standards including FMEA, Control Plan, SPC, and ISO 9000/IATF 16494 standards
