Responsible for giving legal advice and assistance to Paychex with respect to labor and employment matters.


Responsibilities

    • Provides legal support and advice to the HR outsourcing business division and client-facing HR professionals.
    • Identifies on-going training and support needs for client-facing HR professionals.
    • Creates and presents trainings to HR professionals.
    • Stays current on legal and industry developments, especially related to labor and employment laws.
    • Investigates and responds to claims.
    • Oversees employment litigation matters, regulatory hearings, and investigation.
    • Maintains excellent partnerships with internal clients to meet their legal and business needs.
    • Provides support for any other matter as may become necessary.

Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) - Required
  • 3 years of experience in employment law. Admitted to practice law in good standing - Required

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the starting base pay range for this position is $105,763 - $166,200 +RSU's. Please keep in mind that this range is the base pay only and does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.
