JOB SUMMARY
The Maintenance Worker is responsible for general maintenance of company property, buildings, grounds and equipment. This position is at the Eastview Mall location in Victor, NY.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
- Maintains grounds and parking lots, performing garbage pick-up, minor routine parking lot repairs, landscaping, weeding, and other related maintenance activities.
- Maintains building by preforming minor and routine painting, carpentry, plumbing, electrical wiring, tile repair and other related maintenance activities.
- Performs maintenance and repairs on equipment, including small engines and electrical motors.
- Notifies the supervisor of the need for significant lighting, heating, and ventilating equipment repairs.
- Maintains motor vehicle (trucks, tractors, salters, and plows).
- Repairs and maintains all doors and entryway hardware.
- Cleans snow and debris from sidewalks and parking lots.
- Mows lawn, trims shrubbery, and cultivates flowers.
- Replaces Lighbulbs.
- Operates power tools and equipment.
OTHER DUTIES
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
- Trade school certification and mechanical repair courses or equivalent experience a plus.
- Experience in one or more relevant fields, plumbing, electrical, mechanical, landscaping, etc., is a plus.
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.

- The noise level in the work enfironment is usually moderate.
Must be able to work overtime as needed, weekends and holidays. Two Full-Time positions available:
1 - Days and hours are Sunday through Tursday 7 AM to 3:30 PM
2- Days and hours are Monday thorugh Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM
