WHAT WE NEED
The business goals of this co-op are to assist the Maintenance department in executing and creating a robust PM standard and upgrading current PMs at our Williamson, NY or Macedon, NY facilities. Once this system is successfully developed and mastered during this co-op block in the Williamson or Macedon facility, it will be the responsibility of the Maintenance Manger to continue to manage. Specifically, you will be:
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
• Designing and creating a standard SOP for the creation of a PM in the CMMS System.
• Implementing the standard to the current PM’s and any new PM’s.
• Investigating equipment and Manuals for proper PM’s.
• Creating new plant documentation SOP for implementation of PMs in the CMMS System.
• Developing a project plan for the completion of assets.
REQUIRED EDUCATION
• Currently enrolled in an accredited undergraduate program Pursuing Bachelor’s in various programs related to Engineering/Maintenance.
- Minimum completion of two years of program.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Experience in a technical role at a manufacturing facility.
• Hands-on experience with a CMMS system.
• Designing and developing Preventative Maintenance procedures.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office products
• Ability to work autonomously, ask questions, and seek information.
• Detail-oriented.
• Strong oral and written communication as well as interpersonal skills, with ability to communicate with diverse populations.
• Due to SQF regulations, fluency in written and verbal, in the English language
At BRF, base pay is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $22 to $23 per hour. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
