FT position available, D/E/N, 8 & 12-hour shifts, weekends and holidays per unit policy
Responsibilities
Seeking a highly organized, operations-focused individual with advanced communication skills to collaborate with the Nurse Manager to support the 8 North Nursing unit.
Day to day operations, strategic planning for the patient populations served on the unit, and professional development/coaching for existing staff will be expected job responsibilities.
Identification of unit based, as well as service-based QA/QI initiatives, and provision of unit level support for successful implementation and/or surveillance will be required. Assumes primary responsibility for the unit in the absence of the Nurse Manager. Additional weekday on-call responsibilities.
Qualifications: 3-5 years RN experience in acute care setting; BSN required. Certification in practicing specialty by recognized accrediting agency or management within 18 months of eligibility is preferred
Qualifications
Requires a BSN or matriculation in a BSN program from an accredited Nursing Program and an active New York State license in good standing. Applicants will have a minimum of 5 years or RN experience. This position is a member of the unit/service leadership team, demonstrates the ability to develop standards of care, unit/service goals, and objectives, and provides consultation and expertise in delivering patient care.

Pay Range
Pay Range: $45.22- $59.75
The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum annual salary for this faculty position. Individual salaries will be determined within the jobs salary range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations. Incentive-based compensation may also be applicable and will be discussed during the hiring process.
