Function of Position:
The Clerk receives immediate supervision from the Department Secretary but reports to the Chairperson of the Department of Nursing. The Clerk is responsible for supporting the department through various clerical functions. The Clerk participates in departmental and institutional functions as appropriate.

Greet students, answer questionsAnswer phonePick up & distribute mailCopyingFilingAssists with registration process under Department Secretary's directionCreates and maintains academic files for nursing and surgical technology studentsAssists with special projects for the departmentHandles inquiries regarding the nursing and surgical technology programCoordinates workflow with appropriate college departmentsProvides office coverage in the absence of the Department SecretaryCreates and maintains statistics spreadsheet and scholarships excel spreadsheetsAttend support staff meetingsAdvisement to prospective nursing studentsAdditional duties as assigned by Department Secretary or Department ChairpersonMCC Expectations:

Additional Information:
Hours: Monday - Friday, Flexible, 15-25 hours per week depending on needs of the department.
Pay Rate: $18.79 per hour
