Job Summary: Greenlight Networks is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Fleet Manager to oversee and optimize our vehicle fleet operations. The Fleet Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse range of vehicles, ensuring efficient maintenance, compliance, and cost-effective operations.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive fleet management strategies and policies to optimize the utilization of company vehicles.
  • Monitor and maintain the fleet inventory, including vehicle acquisition, maintenance, and disposal.
  • Coordinate vehicle inspections, repairs, and maintenance schedules to minimize downtime and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
  • Manages, purchasing, insurance, and related record keeping for fleet vehicles.
  • Manage relationships with vendors, negotiate contracts, and ensure cost-effective services.
  • Track and analyze fleet performance metrics, including fuel consumption, maintenance costs, and driver behavior, and provide regular reports to management.
  • Prepare financial and forecasting needs for fleet and present to leadership and investment teams.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

  • Strong knowledge of fleet operations, vehicle maintenance, and applicable regulations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities to identify areas for improvement and implement effective solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Advanced negotiation skills and knowledge.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the field's concepts and principles.
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
  • Ability to self-check own work with attention to accuracy; innate big picture sensibility when required.
  • Strong desire to be on a high growth, winning team, working side-by-side with passionate, purposeful people; naturally curious.
  • Self-starter and finisher; proven experience taking initiative.
  • Work independently with appropriate allocation of time management and organization.
  • Highest ethical and professional conduct.
  • Ability to Travel to all company markets along the Northeast.

Other Requirements

  • Requires a Bachelor's Degree and at least 6 years of experience.
  • Proficient in using fleet management software, databases, and other relevant tools.
  • Proficiency with Excel/Word/Powerpoint.

Compensation:

Our job titles may span more than one career level. The annual salary range for this position is $78,000 - $93,000. The actual salary offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
