Position Purpose: Primarily responsible for the daily operations management and coordination of staff, teachers, scheduling, customer service, sales, and events.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Responsible for managing the reception desk
- Supervises the arrival and departure of students
- Greets parents, students and prospective clients in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner
- Answers the phone and directs calls or messages appropriately and efficiently
- Collects phone system messages and processes them appropriately
- Keeps current on curriculum, pricing, rules and regulations
- Manages complex and changing schedules of classes, camps, events, parties, staff, faculty and students to ensure quality and timely delivery of instructional programs
- Prospecting, selling and enrolling students in our programs
- Processes new enrollments, retail sales, billing, and collections
- Shares responsibility with the for the timely opening and closing of the site
- Responsible for student recruitment and retention for private lessons, bands, classes
- Shares responsibilities with the team for the site and equipment being cleaned, organized, and repaired at all times
- Assists with the development and implementation of marketing and advertising
- Responsible for researching and coordinating several events per month that provide opportunities for our students (including DJ students, ensembles and bands) to perform at local PTA, school, restaurant, community and other events.
- Responsible for organizing Battle of the Bands and Battle of the DJ's one or two times per year for our bands and DJ students.
- Setting up/tearing down/transporting basic live musical equipment including musical instruments, sound system, microphones, and live gear at events based on the event requirements.
- Hosting events and being the MC of events.
- Setting up a Bach to Rock table, speaking to prospective customers about our programs and collecting prospect information.
- Markets and publicizes events

· Ability to operate basic office equipment, i.e. telephones, photocopiers and computers

· Ability to use all relevant computer software (Microsoft Office, etc) proficiently, and the ability to learn to use B2R’s specialized systems
· Ability to be physically present at the facility during its hours of operation
· Ability to pass a background check
Education and Work Experience and/or Licensure
· Associate's or Bachelor’s degree preferred in business or a related field
· Sales and customer service are required
· Scheduling, record-keeping and time tracking experience is required
· Business management and administrative experience is preferred
· Supervisory experience is preferred
Language Skills
· Must be proficient in English speaking and writing skills.
· Additional languages are desirable

Work Hours
Specific work schedule to be mutually determined, but generally, must be available during core evening hours and have flexibility to work at least one weekend day.
