Summary
The Licensing Coordinator, Regulatory Affairs - will be an active member of the Regulatory Affairs group within the Legal Department and will be responsible for assisting with regulatory compliance matters pertaining to alcohol beverage industry practices. The Coordinator, Regulatory Affairs - Licensing will assist in the administration of federal, state, and local alcohol beverage licensing for Constellation Brands Inc. (“Constellation”) to ensure all facilities, sales activities, and sales personnel are properly licensed and are operating in compliance with applicable law.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for certain manufacturing, wholesale, direct-to-consumer, solicitor, local and miscellaneous license applications and on-time renewals across the beer, wine and spirits business.
- Assist team members with preparing, organizing application materials for Constellation’s manufacturing, wholesale, and direct-to-consumer license applications across the beer, wine and spirits business, including preparing cover letters, applications, check requests and mailing labels.
- Submit payments for license renewals and/or assist licensing team with preparation of renewal applications.
- Coordinate with solicitors to prepare new solicitor permit applications and process annual renewals on time.
- Assist with officer and director updates as needed.
- Prepare licensing reports and assist with preparing agenda for weekly licensing meetings.
- Monitor licensing database to ensure timely renewal of all licenses.
- Maintain internal files, ensuring that new licenses, annual renewal filings, and other relevant documents are timely scanned and filed.
- Track application status and follow up with internal personnel and agencies, as directed.
- Coordinate signature and notarization of various application materials .
- Process incoming and outgoing electronic and physical mail, as assigned.
- Perform periodic audits of license database against internal records to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with coding and processing all licensing invoices.
- Assist with photocopying, scanning, filing and faxing as needed.
- Assemble, distribute and archive documents, as directed.
- Research related to licensing projects and gathering research into shareable/usable format, as directed.
- Special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
- BA degree or other education with 1-2 years related experience preferred.
- Alcohol beverage licensing and compliance experience preferred but not required.
- Demonstrable experience with completing detailed information accurately and on time in a high demand environment is required.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Adobe Acrobat.
- Ability to build relationships.
- Hold very strong written, verbal, organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize a high volume of licensing projects to ensure all licenses are timely renewed.
- Must be highly detail-oriented and have the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
- Capability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of matters.
- High level of professionalism.

$24.51 - $35.27This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. Our compensation is based on cost of labor. For remote locations or positions open to multiple locations, the pay range may reflect several US geographic markets, including the lowest geographic market minimum to the highest geographic market maximum. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range, and the range may be modified in the future. An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, the prevailing minimum wage for the location, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.
