At Creation Technologies we offer a broad range of Production Opportunities within our two divisions: PCBA and Wire & Cable. We service 4 main industries making life saving mission critical products within the Industrial, Aerospace, Defense & Medical sectors. We are looking for Production Associates to join our growing team in various capacities such as Electronic Assembly, Machine Operation, Inspectors, Soldering Associates, and more!

 

Production Associate Job Overview:

An Electronics Production Associate is responsible for performing a variety of tasks and processes to complete electronic assemblies and sub-assemblies including but not limited to solder, machine operation, and final assembly.  Production Associates must be able to follow established methods and procedures to ensure these tasks are completed as directed by manufacturing schedules with limited supervision.

 

Accountabilities:

  • Performs intermediate assembly tasks such as transformers, resistors, transistors, capacitors, integrated circuits, and sockets, on chassis panel.
  • Reads work orders, follows production drawings and sample assemblies, and/or receives verbal instructions regarding duties to be performed.
  • Uses hand tools, power tools machines or other equipment to perform work.
  • May perform assembly operations under microscope or another magnifying device.
  • Inspects own work to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
  • Conducts quality checks periodically.
  • Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness by meeting all productivity and quality objectives.
  • Communicates with team and support staff to ensure continuous production at high quality levels.

 

Skills and Abilities:

  • Accurate visual acuity for color and depth perception
  • Vision sufficient to accurately measure in fraction of an inch
  • Manual dexterity to handle small hand tools including soldering iron
  • Read and understand moderately complex assembly instructions
  • Comprehend written and verbal assignments
  • Ability to work as a team member in a diverse work environment
  • Advanced soldering and repair / rework skills
  • Ability to use solder extractor tools 
  • Basic computer skills - accurate with data entry
  • Suggest ideas to improve efficiency
  • Good math skills with ability to count and measure

 

Required Qualifications:

  • Minimum Education: High School Diploma/GED

 

Physical Activity Requirements:

  • Work Environment: Production environment where the noise level is generally moderately noisy
  • Work Position: Primarily sitting
  • Body Movements: While performing the duties of this job, the employee may be required to stand, walk, sit, climb, stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl
  • Weight Requirements: Must be able to lift up to 20lbs
  • Sensory Requirements: Vision, speech, hearing, smell, and touch are routinely used in day to day functions
