Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist with various tasks on construction sites, ensuring projects are completed efficiently and safely.
Essential Functions:
- Assist with the preparation and cleanup of construction sites.
- Load and unload materials and equipment.
- Operate hand tools and power tools under supervision.
- Operate a hydro-vac for potholing and site cleanup.
- Safely operate a pick-up truck or bigger while towing a trailer
- Perform basic construction tasks, such as digging, lifting, and carrying materials
- Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete tasks as directed by supervisors.
- Perform routine maintenance on tools and equipment.
- Comply with all company policies and procedures.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in directional drilling/underground construction is preferred but not required.
- Ability to travel out of state when required.
- Ability to perform physical labor and lift heavy objects.
- Basic knowledge of construction safety practices.
- Good communications skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
- CDL-A license preferred but not required.
- Safely operate a pick-up truck or bigger while towing a trailer.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time, able to scoop, bend, and lift up to 75lbs.
- Ability to work in the following environments: Outside. Hot, cold, rain, snow.
- Ability to be on call.
Travel: 50%
Compensation:
Our job titles may span more than one career level. The hourly pay-range for this position is $18.00/hr - $23.00/hr. The actual salary offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors, such as: training, transferable skills, work experience, education, business needs, market demands and work location. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
