Overview
St. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students each year. Across its five Schools, Fisher offers nearly 40 majors in the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business, education, and nursing; 11 pre-professional programs; and master’s and doctoral programs in business, nursing, education, pharmacy, and public health. Job Responsibilities
Responsible for providing services related to special collections and university archives in all formats. Creates the overall vision for these services, and guides the process of setting priorities, developing appropriate strategies to support the library’s mission and strategic plan through the best use of library assets. Provides research help services and designs and delivers instruction services, supporting the curriculum and promoting student success. Participates in the library liaison program.
Education / Experience
Required Master’s degree from an ALA-accredited program in library and information science, archival science or related field Graduate coursework or experience in archives or special collections Preferred Professional experience in a library, museum, or archive.

Preferred Experience providing one-on-one research support to students and faculty. Experience in an academic library. Demonstrated ability to teach effectively in multiple modalities.
