Job Overview:
Production Operators are hands-on positions in daily production of a variety of food grade paper straw products. Working in a fast-paced production shop environment, your responsibility as a machine operator is to learn and operate production equipment including straw winding machines, cutting machines, packaging machines and more. You will learn multiple production processes and become expert at one process. Up on demand, your given process may change dynamically. In addition, you must be able to follow instructions and guidelines given by the production supervisor and engineers in charge.
Education and hands on experience in mechanical system operation, repair, design and engineering will help you succeed and grow on our team.
Responsibilities
- Learn production equipment operations
- Hands on machine operations including straw winding, cutting and packing machines according to production plans
- Receive and execute instruction given by production supervisors and engineers.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during production.
- Identify and put forward factory improvement issues and ideas.
- Keep the workspace clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Interest or background in machine system operations.
- Mechanically inclined and willing to learn.
- College or professional training in the mechanical or industrial field is a plus.
- Manual or CNC operation experience is a plus.
- Automotive repair experience is a plus.
- Having a positive attitude towards working with others
- Good commitment and workmanship spirit
- Microsoft and sharepoint experience is a plus.
- Committed to full time work 40h per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour /shift or 10h/shift
- Monday to Friday
- Day Shift or Evening Shift
