This position is remote eligible for up to 40% of the time. Hours are typically Monday - Friday 8:00am - 5:00pm. Must be flexible to meet current and future business needs.
Pay:
Starting Pay: $33.51 per hour Pay Range: $29.64 - $37.37per hour
Purpose:
This position supports the successful deployment and utilization of the profitability measurement and reporting system. It ensures for accurate and timely historical product profitability. In addition to profitability, this position will support other critical daily secondary market functions.
Accountabilities:
Support maintenance and processing of product profitability system
- Run monthly actuals and base
- Provide quality assurance, problem solving, variance reporting vs prior periods, and GL reconciliation within the system
- Maintain structure of system tables, including accounts, GLs, departments, and cost drivers
- Implement identified improvements to the costing methodology. Analyze changes to determine impact on profitability reporting
- Provide insight into internal operations or vendor structure changes which could materially impact cost studies
- Troubleshoot the model for issues that impact reporting accuracy
- Maintain proper documentation for model changes and validation
- Support annual cost study update
- Continually look for ways to streamline and automate regular system jobs
Support creation and distribution of profitability reports
- Ensure accurate and timely creation and distribution of profitability reports within established deadlines
- Compile updated quarterly and annual reports
- Maintain feedback loop from internal customers including collection of reporting requirements and requested enhancements
- Identify and provide analytical insight into trends within historical profitability data
- Identify and provide analytical insight into variances between actual and standard unit costs
- Assist in education of profitability methodology and communication of reporting enhancements to internal customers
- Supply assumptions for and support financial justifications, business cases, and marginal models
Support the development and evolution of the profitability analytics
- Support implementation of identified data updates, reporting enhancements, and overall evolution of profitability reporting with guidance from the Product Profitability Manager and the Profitability Modeling and Reporting team
Support Secondary Market activities
- Backup to mortgage rate locks, mortgage pricing, cash management, and other reporting
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required
- PC Proficient (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word)
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Ability to identify, assess, and solve problems
- Analytical and critical thinking skills

Preference will be given to candidates with the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business discipline
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in using Excel in business application, using databases, analyzing reports and data, or conducting reconciliations preferred
Additional qualifications to be considered for a Product Profitability Analyst II position:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or other related business discipline is required
- A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in using Excel in business application, using databases, analyzing reports and data, or conducting reconciliations is required
- Starting pay: $37.50 Pay Range: $33.20 - $41.86
