This role is located at both the Macedon, NY and Williamson, NY locations.

WHAT WE NEED
The Employee Experience Specialist is responsible for supporting and administering programs related to employee engagement, internal communications, and workplace culture. This individual brings attention to detail, initiative, critical thinking and during the full employee lifecycle will support coordination of internal communication activities and employee events. This role is required to provide onsite support at both our Macedon and Williamson facilities.


WHAT YOU WILL DO

Internal Communications: 50%

  • Execute the internal communications strategy for BRF, including key messaging, communication channels, and tactics
  • Support the planning and execution of BRF Town Halls and Ask Me Anything Sessions across all locations
  • Create and deliver internal communications content, including but not limited to, email updates, newsletters, flyers, and presentations
  • Ensure internal communication materials align to BRF Brand Guidelines
  • Support collaborative communication to ensure internal stakeholders receive notice about organizational initiatives, changes, and events
  • Collaborate with internal teams, including, but not limited to, the Leadership, Operations, People, Marketing, and Business Enablement teams to translate and align key strategy and communications across the enterprise
  • Maintain internal communication tools, ensuring they are up-to-date, user-friendly, and aligned with BRF goals and CARE values
  • Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communication efforts, and make recommendations for improvement based on feedback and data analysis
  • Develop and maintain an internal communications content calendar to ensure that internal communications are timely and relevant

Employee Engagement/Events: 45%

  • Execute the employee engagement strategy to ensure the success of employee events and activities, annual and pulse surveys, and employee recognition programs
  • Partner with internal cross functional stakeholders to develop and deliver programs to increase employee engagement, satisfaction, and retention
  • Ownership of employee recognition programs including the CARE Coin recognition program, anniversary awards, retirement gift, holiday gifts, and bereavement/get well flowers.
  • Collaboration with cross-functional teams across all BRF locations to plan and execute staple employee events/activities including Ask Me Anything Sessions, Manufacturing Week, and 12 Days of Cheer
  • Support the annual Great Place to Work Survey process (set up, communication of, data preparation) across the enterprise
  • Ownership of the Cultural Ambassador Program
  • Serve as chair of the Employee Engagement Committee

People Team Support: 5%

  • Serve as a point of contact for employees coming to the HR areas with questions to ensure they have a positive experience and are assisted in a timely manner. Use every opportunity and interaction to drive our inclusive culture and improve employee experience.
  • Support of employee-focused People Team activities to drive engagement
  • Represent People Team at internal events such as Ask Me Anything Sessions and Monthly Communication Meetings
  • Fill in at reception in Macedon or Williamson as required (primarily vacation coverage).
  • Travel is required, on a regular, weekly schedule, to the Williamson facility.

Required Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree Business, English Literature, Creative Writing, Psychology, Human Resources and two (2) years’ experience related to communications, content development, event planning and/or Marketing
  • Experience creating content for internal communications using Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, or similar tools such as Adobe Creative Suite required
  • Experience in event planning across multiple geographic locations, a plus

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Ability to read, write and speak fluently in English is required.
  • Positive, proactive, and collaborative attitude. Strong execution skill are a must.
  • Ability to convey information to a variety of audiences and ability to adjust delivery methods and styles according to what would be received most effectively.

  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have Intermediate knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word, Teams and Excel. Fluent enough with PowerPoint to develop and edit engaging training materials. Experience with ADP is helpful. Experience with Canva or Prezi a plus.

At BRF, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base pay range for this role is between $75,000 and $85,000 annually. Your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
