Responsibilities:
GENERAL PURPOSE:
Performs advanced highly specialized technical wet, or animal, laboratory research activities, frequently designing or creating new techniques, procedures and practices. May be responsible for planning, coordinating, and/or reviewing work of lower-classified technical and/or clerical staff. Interprets activities/problems and selects approaches. Plans and conducts experiments, designing or creating new techniques and procedures. Evaluates results and prepares reports.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

MINIMUM EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
- High School diploma or equivalent and 7 years of relevant experience required
- Associate's degree preferred
- Or equivalent combination of education and experience
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- OSHA safety requirements; scientific methods required
