PROGRAM: Training Department- Administration
POSITION: Director of Training and Workforce Development
DAYS/HOURS: Monday-Friday: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm 40 hours
RESPONSIBILITIES: The Director of Training and Workforce Development is responsible for leading the agency’s training, education, and workforce development strategy. This is including but not limited to onboarding new employees, annual training, and staff development opportunities both in person and online. By supporting the mission and vision of the agency, the Director will develop effective tools and initiatives to strengthen skills, build knowledge, and increase engagement for all employees, volunteers, and consultants. Assures compliance with all applicable regulations.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree in clinical discipline, education, or related field. At least three years of experience in MR/DD direct services with at least three years of experience in the delivery of staff training and development. Master’s Degree in a related discipline as above and one year of direct service experience. May be required to meet LAI’s Vehicle Operator Requirements.
STARTING DATE: To be discussed at interview
SALARY: Commensurate with experience
