Overview

St. John Fisher University is an independent, liberal arts institution that provides a transformative education to approximately 3,800 undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral students each year. Job Responsibilities

Transporting sports teams and students to off-campus events and practices from mid August thru end of May; hours per week will vary during playing seasons. Additional hours over the summer for other campus events. Must be able to adapt to a flexible schedule; hours and days will vary depending on athletic schedules; nights and weekends are required. Ability to work with google documents, check and respond to e-mail and phone calls. Training on google docs will be provided Must keep written log of activity

Education / Experience

- High School graduate - Clean driving record - Must know basic vehicle and traffic laws

Competencies / Skills

  • Class B CDL Driver Requirements:
  • Clean Class B License with air brakes, Passenger endorsements
  • Familiar with DOT rules and requirements. Ability to read basic instructions, road signs and maps, and be able to keep a written log of activity.
  • Strong customer service abilities with emphasis on customer satisfaction
  • Strong organizational & Time management skills
  • Positive attitude with a Professional appearance
  • Willingness to learn and be coached as needed

Work Environment

Transporting student athletes and staff to and from St John Fisher University to competition and practice or event venues. Bus: Embassy 395 Freightliner M-2 bus 8.5 feet wide, 39.5 feet long and 11.5 high. Full cab – driver and co-pilot. Max 36 passengers with back storage area (outside access).
