UR Medicine Finger Lakes Health is seeking a Pharmacy Supervisor to join our team!
POSITION SUMMARY:
Works cooperatively with other health care team members to provide the pharmacy component of patient care services. Supervises the SSMH Pharmacy staff and the distribution of pharmaceuticals to patients and provides information to promote the safe and effective use of these agents. Provides pharmacological, antibiotic, and parenteral nutrition consults to physicians on request. Acts as shift supervisor for Pharmacist and Pharmacy Technicians. Acts as supervising pharmacist as defined under NYS regulation.

Minimum:
BS in pharmacy
Preferred:
PharmD
LICENSE:
Minimum:
Current New York State Pharmacist license (or eligible).
PROFESSIONAL CERTIFICATIONS:
WORK EXPERIENCE:
Minimum:
One year of previous hospital pharmacy experience
Demonstrated leadership experience
Preferred:
Previous Supervisory experience
SKILLS:
Minimum:
Familiarity with Unit Dose Systems, preparation of Intravenous admixtures, parenteral nutrition solutions and chemotherapy.
Computer experience and knowledge of pharmcokinetic dosing principles and principles involved in dosage adjustments and monitoring for neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
Experience with Adverse Drug Reaction reporting and performance improvement programs
Salary Range: $74.79-$82.62
