Description

SUNY Geneseo is hiring an Employer Relations & Internship Coordinator (hereafter Coordinator) to create and support internships and job placement opportunities for Geneseo students. The Coordinator will collaborate with various stakeholders on and off campus to design and implement employer engagement strategies, develop career and internship opportunities for students, and coordinate career education and exploration events and job fairs. The Coordinator will also develop students’ professional skills, enhance their career readiness, and prepare them to meet the ever-changing industry needs. This is a 12-month professional staff position (UUP SL3 Senior Career Planning and Development Associate), reporting to both the School of Business and Career Design Center at SUNY Geneseo.

 

Required Qualifications:
  • A Bachelor’s degree in business, communication, or related fields from an accredited higher education institution.
  • Five years of full-time work experience in business or non-profit organizations.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work with and serve diverse constituencies.
  • Ability to successfully handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
