$17.00 - $22.10The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
Responsibilities:
Assignments are generally under the direction of a licensed professional or nurse; provides patient care by performing basic procedures and selected specialized procedures that contribute to the well being, comfort and safety of patients. May perform technical procedures and report findings to clinical staff. Tasks may include: performing venipuncture for blood samples, performing EKGs, placing electrodes and obtaining telemetry readings. Collects specimens, performs basic tests or sends specimens to appropriate laboratory for analysis per Hospital policies. Candidates must be available for rotating shifts, and every other weekend and holiday.QUALIFICATIONS:
- Requires high school diploma or GED and two years of experience in health care delivery in positions such as:
- Nursing Assistant; Home Health Aide;
- EMT; Medic/Corps Person;
- or two clinical semesters completed as a Nursing Student or related academic study;
- or equivalent combination of education and experience.
