Overview
To consistently exceed the expectations of our Personal Insurance customers by performing a variety of duties to meet their insurance service needs.
Responsibilities
• Receive and Process telephone service requests , including but not limited to, policy endorsements, cancellations, billing and identification card issuance
• Thoroughly and accurately document agency management system and ImageRight
• Maintain thorough knowledge of company procedures
• Process all in-coming and out-going mail
• Review Insurance company communications daily
• Review account renewals and endorsements (download and paper) for accuracy
• Complete the billing procedure for account transactions
• Provide assistance to customers reporting claims
• Review and maintain current ImageRight “To Do List”
• Identify and offer to customer account rounding and up selling opportunities
• Provide administrative support as requested by Producers and other staff members
• Additional duties as assigned by Management
Qualifications
• Two year college degree in related field or equivalent experience preferred
• Licensed insurance broker or ability and willingness to obtain license within one year of assignment
• Excellent phone skills
• Proven customer service skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Excellent computer and keyboarding skills; knowledge of word processing with Windows experience
• Ability to work within a team environment
• Ability to self-direct the completion of job duties
• Microsoft Applications
• Other various office equipment
• AMS experience is desirable
