Overview

The Inside Sales Floor Coach is responsible for providing in-the-moment coaching, training, and mentorship to sales representatives within the inside sales hub. By actively engaging with reps on the sales floor, the Floor Coach enhances productivity, accelerates skill development, and increases overall sales performance and retention.


Responsibilities

  • Real-Time Coaching: Move throughout the sales floor to observe and provide immediate feedback on sales calls, objection handling, and closing techniques.
  • Skill Development: Identify strengths and areas for improvement for each sales rep and provide targeted coaching to enhance performance.
  • Performance Monitoring: Track individual and team performance metrics to ensure coaching effectiveness and business impact.
  • Sales Enablement: Reinforce sales strategies, talk tracks, and best practices to drive improved conversion rates.
  • Retention & Motivation: Act as a mentor and motivator, fostering a positive sales culture that encourages rep engagement and reduces turnover.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Sales Managers and Training Teams to align coaching strategies with overall business objectives.
  • Onboarding Support: Assist in ramping up new hires by reinforcing training and ensuring a smooth transition into live selling.
  • Process Optimization: Identify barriers to sales success and provide feedback to leadership on potential improvements.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma (Required), Bachelor's (Preferred) 
  • 3 years of proven experience in inside sales
  • 3 years experience in sales coaching or sales training 

Compensation

In the spirit of pay transparency, we are excited to share that the compensation range for this position is typically between $67K- $100K. This range includes base pay but does not consider other components that make up the total rewards package for the position. If you are hired at Paychex, your overall compensation will be determined based on factors such as geographic location, skills, education, and/or experience which may result in total compensation outside of this range.”
